It really is. Which is why I live life to the fullest, with as little restriction as possible. I live with no regrets of what I have done and advise others to do the same. I want to be able to look back on my life when I am rotting in an old age home and say to myself..."Hey.... at least I had fun with my life."I hope your friend gets better. I know what you are going through two of my close friends have diabetes as well.To answer your original question..yes.The older you get the more you will come to realize that 30,40,50, all seem old when you are younger but it's really not.& you can't live your life expecting to live until you are 100.Tomorrow is not promised honey. This doesn't mean you should live in fear. But live everyday as if it was your last and remember that the things you do and how you treat people determines how you will be remembered.Never say something to a loved one that you would feel horrible about if it was the last thing you ever said to them..I hope your friend gets well soon.
