What kind of insulin do you take? they have come out with some quick acting insulin that is grate you can take it before you eat to bring down your sugar and it gives you MUCH MORE CONTROL over your diabetis. I used to use just the time released one and it sucked because I could not get it under 300 went to a comb of time released and quick acting and its great. Also after a few months on the quick acting and I find I don't need as much. At first I took 12ml before each meal and bed now it's 5ml.
