I had a low blood sugar and passed out causing an accident what should i do?

I am assuming that you must have hypoglycemia unawareness because I am sure you wouldn't drive around when you knew your blood sugar was too low. I did the exact thing too, 6 years ago. That was my wake up call and I knew I had to do something different. At that time I went on the insulin pump. It has helped me keep my blood glucose stable. I haven't had a severe low since. Plus with keeping my blood sugars at a higher level for a while, I have regained feeling symptoms for lows. Also another idea if you can afford it is to get the continuous glucose monitor. You can set it for a certain level, and whenever your blood sugar dips below that, an alarm will sound. Good luck to you.
