First off sweet heart you are not alone!! This is so common with Juvenile Diabetics! I have been type one for 16 years, When i was about your age i stopped testing my blood sugars and taking care of my self like i should have. I lied to my doctor and family and just wanted to give up. i am now 23 and are trying to have a baby, My A1C has been high in the 9's for the last 8 years, Its good that you are on an insulin pump then at least you cant forget to take your insulin.
It is very normal at your age for you to have a hard time controlling your sugars because of hormones and doctors know that. Just please take it from me do not give up and you may feel like just having a pitty party and crying and screaming but that's ok. Your health is the most important thing and you may not see it now but your lucky that your as young as you are and having the problem now because its not to late to change.
